Why do we do this? Imagine you only have one day left before your license expires. Upgrading a license with just one day remaining doesn't make much sense. Therefore, for simplicity, we extend it to a full year regardless of how many days are left. After payment, you need to proceed to the web console to activate it manually as below. Just click on Edit, then OK, no need to edit anything, because your license key remains the same.
